Airman saves woman, puts Green Dot skills to use

Col. James Fisher coins Staff Sgt. Lewis Fredritta, 14th Operations Support Squadron, Oct. 26, 2016, at Columbus Air Force Base, Mississippi, for her Green Dot efforts. Lewis, currently working in Honor Guard, went to a concert in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Upon leaving the concert she saw an intoxicated young woman having trouble walking. Lewis went to assist and the young woman passed out. Lewis then started to carry the woman to security when a man came up to assist stating that he would take her. Lewis asked the man if he knew the woman and what her name was. He then left upon questioning. Lewis practiced her reactive Green Dot skills and was able to get the woman to safety and prevent a possible incident from happening. (U.S. Air Force photo by Sharon Ybarra)
