37th FTS turns pedestrians into pilots
The 37th Flying Training Squadron at Columbus Air Force Base, Mississippi, has been active as a FTS since 1972. Students learn basic aircraft characteristics and control, takeoff and landing techniques, aerobatics, and night, instrument and formation flying in the T-6 Texan II.
