Peterson hosts Afghan pilot training

PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. – Two pilots from the 81st Fighter Squadron out of Moody Air Force Base, Ga. and an Afghan pilot walk to several A-29B Super Tucanos to prepare for high altitude training Sept. 16, 2015 here. Four Afghani pilots have been training with the 81st FS on the aircraft since January in Georgia and came to Peterson to get training and experience in high altitude and mountainous terrain. After the training, both the American and Afghan pilots will go to Afghanistan to help establish fighter squadrons. (U.S Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Rose Gudex)
