Shumake
Col. Glynn Shumake was a B-17 pilot during World War II who is credited with over 30 missions and multiple combat tours during his assignment to the 303rd Bomb Group. Shumake retired from the Air Force in 1975 and became a member of Mississippi State Legislature and the House of Representatives, living here in Columbus, Mississippi. (Courtesy Photo)
