MLK luncheon CAFB
Mrs. Vivian Irby, daughter-in-law of George Irby, speaks to the attendees of the Martin Luther King, Jr. luncheon Jan. 24 at the Columbus Club. The luncheon was in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday, which was Jan. 15. King was 39 years old when he was assassinated in 1968. Years after his death, he is one of the most widely known African-American leaders of his era.
