Air show brings together Columbus AFB veterans after 40 years
Columbus Air Force Base veterans pose with Capt. Tyler Tipton, 48th Flying Training Squadron and the group’s Columbus AFB tour guide, for a photo April 5 outside of the 14th Operations Group building as an update to their older photo [Left] taken in the 1960s. This group of prior service members was stationed at Columbus AFB in the 1960s and the 2014 Wings Over Columbus Open House and Air Show was the first time they’ve all been grouped together since their time stationed here.
