sfs cleanup

Airmen from the 14th Security Forces Squadron clean-up a portion of Highway 45 north of Columbus Air Force Base April 25. The cleanup is a part of the “Adopt-a-Highway” program, which encourages groups of volunteers to help keep a section of highway free from litter. According to their website, Adopt - A– Highway groups include college fraternities and sororities, civic organizations, church groups, scouts and commercial and private enterprises. Many individuals and families adopt sections of highways to show their pride in Mississippi or in memory of a family member.
