Air Force Marathon
The Air Education and Training Command men's 10k Team consisting of Columbus AFB athletes Maj. Brian Joseph, 49th Flying Training Squadron, Capt. Ben Payne, 41st Flying Training Squadron, 1st Lt. Jonathan Murphy, 14th Force Support Squadron, and Airman 1st Class Berlin Aniciete, 14th Mission Support Group, won the open men's team race at the Air Force Marathon Sept 20 at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. Captain Payne was the overall winner in the race, finishing the 10k in 31:56, Maj. Joseph was sixth overall with a time of 37:05, Airman Aniciete placed 35th with 42:00, and Lt.
