Tech Sgt. Jason Layfield, 14th Civil Engineer Squadron, was awarded the Non-Commissioned Officer Top 3 Spotlight for the month of October on Oct. 16 at the Columbus Air Force Base Fire Station. Layfield, who recently completed the First Sergeant Symposium on Aug. 15, said that his long term career goals were to obtain a Masters degree before retirement from military service/transition to civil service and to ensure that his wife and children are always taken well care of and given the best opportunities possible through his success.
Airman 1st Class Juliana White, 14th Comptroller Squadron, was awarded the Airman Top 3 Spotlight for the month of October on Oct. 16 at the Finance Office on Columbus Air Force Base. White, who is the Airman’s Activity Council President and a member of the Base Honor Guard, said that her long term goals were to return to Lackland Air Force Base as a Military Training Instructor, help the future airmen as a senior leader, and retire from the United States Air Force as a chief master sergeant.
