Columbus AFB February Top 3 Spotlight Published March 5, 2015 14th Flying Training Wing Public Affairs Columbus Air Force Base, Miss. -- Airman 1st Class Jason Rodriguez, 14th Communications Squadron, receives a Top 3 Spotlight award certificate from Master Sgt. Samuel Gutierrez, Top 3 President, March 4 at the 14th Communications Squadron. One top performing Airman from Columbus Air Force Base is chosen monthly for the Top 3 Spotlight award. Rodriguez was selected as the Columbus AFB media group communications support member where his webpage knowledge gave the base a one-stop-shop to all Columbus AFB activities and info. He continued to use his SharePoint skills to create a 14th Medical Group Commanders Action line, streamlined 14th Operations Support Squadron aircraft maintenance slide collaboration, and created a publications tracker for real-time updates on all current/overdue publications on base. Lastly, Rodriguez helped consolidate 14th Force Support Squadron's 17 file plans down to five; which directly enhanced their filing system and saved valuable Airmen's time.
