Airman 1st Class Chad Callender, 14th Security Forces Squadron, runs in his first half marathon while deployed. A1C Callender finished ninth overall with a time of 1:44:56. The Royal Air Force's 901 Air Expeditionary Wing Air Operations hosted a fund-raiser by staging a half marathon for 271 Airmen, Sailors, Soldiers, civilians and coalition members of the 379 Air Expeditionary Wing. There were 68 individuals and 30 teams that participated in the race. The 14th Flying Training Wing had two deployed members compete in the fundraising event; A1C Callender, who ran in the individual competition, and Master Sgt. Allen Rigdon, 14th Operations Group First Sergeant who coordinated a team effort for this event. Sergeant Rigdon's team finished in fifth place. (U.S. Air Force Photo)
