BLAZE Race signups begin Published Aug. 22, 2007 By Health and Wellness Center Special to Silver Wings COLUMBUS AFB, Miss. -- There will be a BLAZE Race Sept. 21 starting at 7 a.m. at the Fitness Center to celebrate the 60/65 ceremony taking place at CAFB. During this race there will be a 5k, 10k and a 1.5 mile fun run. The first 60 participants to sign up and complete the 5k or 10k race will receive a free commemorative 60/65 t-shirt. Sign up sheets can be found at the Fitness Center front desk. Awards will be given out to the top three female and male participants in both the 5k and 10k races. The awards ceremony will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the Commander's Trophy will be awarded. For more information, call 434-2477.
