Sixteen join the ranks of front-line supervisors

COLUMBUS AIR FORCE BASE, Miss. --  Sixteen Team BLAZE Airmen graduated from Airman Leadership School during a banquet on Sept. 4 at the Columbus Club.

Graduates relaxed with friends, family, supervisors and commanders and shared stories of their experiences in the class. Sharing his son's stories of good and bad leadership to the newest class of graduates was Chief Master Sgt. Leonard Thibodeaux, 14th Mission Support Group Superintendent.

Thibodeaux shared with the class the six LEADERship aspects that he felt made a good supervisor: Learning, Example, Attitude, Dedication, Engaged and Respect.

The five-week long professional military education course armed the senior airmen with the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties as front-line supervisors in the Air Force.

"The class was very fast-paced and challenging," said Morris Worship, 14th Communications Squadron. "We were taught to look over each other's work before it was turned in, and to always seek help from our fellow wingmen."
