Two F-35A Aircraft arrive at Columbus AFB

Two F-35A Lightning II aircraft arrived on Columbus Air Force Base, Mississippi, July 23, one of which was piloted by Brig. Gen. Scott Pleus, Commander of the 56th Fighter Wing at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona.

Pleus gave an F-35A capabilities brief at Phillips Auditorium after his arrival.

The F-35s are available July 24 as a static display for Team BLAZE members, and Pleus will give another capabilities brief July 24 in the Faulkner Auditorium.

Pleus visited the base to guest speak at the Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training Class 15-12 graduation.
