Aircraft and aircrews representing the spectrum of Air Force missions descended upon Columbus AFB, Saturday, Nov. 13 to provide students, instructor pilots and their families with first-hand accounts of each airframe's role in current global operations.

Career Day is a semiannual event hosted by the 14th Operations Group Commander to expose students, first assignment instructors and their families to the mission and lifestyle of operational Air Force aircraft.

Briefings on nearly every major airframe were held Saturday morning in the base theater, and were mandatory for all students and FAIPs. Family members were also encouraged to attend the briefings. Several aircraft, including the F-22, F-15E, F-16, PC-12, M-28, C-130J, KC-135 and UH-1H were available for viewing.
