Lt. Col. David Gossett assumed command of the 14th Operations Support Squadron at a ceremony Thursday at Hangar 4. The 14th OSS provides support to Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training to include ground and simulator training, academic instruction, contract quality assurance, air traffic control, flight records management, weather support, life support, airfield and airspace management, programming of 94,000 flying hours, transition and international officer management and SUPT special event oversight.
