Chief Master Sergeant JANICE PRESHA

Chief Janice K. Presha is the Senior Enlisted Leader, 14th Mission Support Group, Columbus Air Force Base, Mississippi. In this position Chief Presha provides leadership, management and guidance in organizing, equipping, training, and mobilizing a 665 person work force consisting of 6-squadrons. The Mission Support Group operates and maintains all facilities and infrastructure for a 6,013-acre base and provides contracting, law enforcement, supply, transportation, fire protection, communications, education, recreation and personnel management for 9,500 personnel enabling the successful mission of Air Education & Training Command’s Undergraduate Pilot Training Program. 

Chief Presha was raised in Pointblank, Texas and enlisted in the Air Force in August 2001. She graduated the Materiel Management course November 2001 and served in various positions and excelled as a Master Military Training Instructor. Her base assignments include Louisiana, Colorado, Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia and Germany, in addition to numerous deployments in support of Operations IRAQI FREEDOM, ENDURING FREEDOM, INHERENT RESOLVE, and SPARTAN SHIELD. Prior to her current position, Chief served as the Flight Chief, Materiel Management, 86th Logistics Readiness Squadron, Ramstein Air Base, Germany.
