Chief Master Sergeant Jessica M. Martin is the Senior Enlisted Leader, 14th Operations Group, Columbus Air Force Base, Mississippi. She serves as the commander’s enlisted advisor on operational effectiveness, overseeing the organization, training, and equipping of over 1,300 personnel across seven squadrons conducting Undergraduate Pilot Training. The group produces over 400 graduates per year utilizing a fleet of flight simulators and 174 T-6A and T-38C aircraft and safely executes over 300,000 aircraft movements annually within its air traffic control complex. Chief Martin is the group’s focal point for enlisted manning, promotions, professional development, compliance with Air Force standards, and quality of life matters.
Chief Martin entered the Air Force in September 2004. She graduated from the Air Traffic Control Apprentice course at Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi in March 2005. Her background includes various duties in both tower and radar air traffic control facilities. Her assignments include bases in Texas, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Nevada, California, Turkey, Delaware, and New Mexico. She has deployed twice in support of Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa and Operations ENDURING FREEDOM, IRAQI FREEDOM, INHERENT RESOLVE and FREEDOM’S SENTINEL.
Prior to assuming her current position, Chief Martin served as the Senior Enlisted Leader at the 54th Fighter Group, Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico.
