Colonel Eric Theisen, 14th Operations Group commander, presents Tyler Todd a thank you letters and wing coin at the Mississippi Wing of the Civil Air Patrol's Annual Banquet Saturday in Jackson, Miss. Colonel Theisen presented thank you letters from Col. Dave Gerber, 14th Flying Training Wing commander, and wing coins also to the members of the Mississippi Wing CAP that participated in the search and rescue during the T-6 mid-air collision in November and were responsible for locating the second aircraft. Lieutenant Col. Mike Gibbons, 43rd Flying Training Squadron commander, surpassed the 3,000 hour mark in the T-38 trainer Feb. 8. Flying with Colonel Gibbons was Maj. David Grizzard, who has 2,790 T-38 hours, Lt. Col. Mark DeGrange, who has 2,570 T-38 hours, and Maj. Mark Heatherly, who has 2,250 T-38 hours.
