    Columbus AFB medical Airmen ensure readiness through TCCC

    The 14th Medical Group held the Wing’s first on-site Tactical Combat Casualty Care All Combatants course July 16, 2020, at the Kortiz Clinic, training 10 medics from Columbus Air Force Base. The course provides medics with life-saving skills in addition to tactical field care, tactical evacuation care and essential need-to-know capabilities to save lives while undergoing hostile combat situations.

    14th Medical Group’s care keeps Airmen flying high

    There are many stressors throughout a pilot’s career and being unable to fly because of a stuffy nose and a sneeze can cause a student to be pushed back if left untreated.

    14th MDSS Radiology Department keeps Columbus AFB ready

    Radiology department at the base clinic, is probably something most people don’t think about until they need their services, for either a potential broken bone or other internal injury, and last year the radiology department on Columbus Air Force Base served about 900 patients.
